Senior strength group classes target weight-bearing exercise required to maintain and improve bone health. These classes are a great option for management of osteopenia and osteoporosis
Senior strength Classes
Senior strength classes are designed for adults 55yrs+ and focuses on safe and effective strength training. Sesssions include use of body-weight, free-weight, pin-loaded machines and resistance band exercises. Classes are suitable for beginners and experienced and are supervised by our team ensuring a safe exercise environment.
Our seniors strength class, Standing Strong does not require a membership with classes $5 each. We recommend aiming to attend 2-3 classes per week for valuable results with bone health and strength levels.

Over 1 million Australians have Osteoporosis and it is often referred to as the “Silent Disease’. It is important that adults 50 years and older engage in physical activity to reduce the risks of fractures and take the necessary steps to protect bone health.
